About Us

We opened our doors on 28^th October 1998 as Trend Trailers; at this time we mainly did trailer repairs and sold second hand box trailers. By February 1999 we had started selling new trailers from the basic 6x4 box trailer to car carriers and custom built trailers, by the end of 1999 we also made the move to Dog Trailers and Camper Trailers.

In November 2005 we chose to leave the general trailer market and move to just specialise in trailers built for a special purpose so in November 2005 Trend Trailers became Specialised Trailers. Specialised Trailers now specialises in the manufacture, service and repair of Dog Trailers, Motorbike Trailers and Car Carriers for the show, agility, sled dog and motor sport industries as well as to the general public.

We take pride in supplying the best trailer for your money and we use Australian Made steel and parts wherever possible, also trailers manufactured by us are supplied with new ROH wheels and quality new tyres. We believe that when you are buying a new trailer the trailer should be all new not mostly new, we also stand by the trailers we sell with a full 12 month written warranty.

At Specialised Trailers we build trailers to a standard, not down to a price. We do not mass produce trailers but build each trailer one by one to make sure you get the best trailer for your money.
